Deer Antler/Rifle Casing Sample code-DARP3
Deer antler, while very hard to turn, results in a nice looking "unique" piece when finished. Combined with a rifle casing, it creates a combination any deer hunter is sure to appreciate. In this piece the casing was placed on top which allows viewing of the base of the casing and it's maker and caliber markings. This particular one is a .308 caliber.

In its natural state the cob is not very durable and typically must be "stabilized" in some fashion to make it usefull in a more than an aesthetic capacity as decoration. This piece has been pressure impregnated with resin to make it funtional in this application.
